Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pakistan International Human Rights (PIHRO) Senior Vice President Saeedlah Jan and Vice President Abdul Khaliq Qureshi have said that lawyers and the doctors should be mindful of the respect matched to their professions.
At least three patients admitted to the Pakistan Institute of Cardiology (PIC) for seeking their heart treatment died during the attack, which was a shameful episode, especially for the young lawyers. Highlighting the remarks of CJP, they said that PIC attack was a clear violation of the human rights, which should not have happened. They demanded stern action against the violator of sanctity of law, and added that human rights does not allow anybody to intervene in sensible cardiac patients hospital but meaningful dialogues could be launched separately instead such horrible attack on the PIC while the outcome of such an inhuman attack brought out excessive loss of hospital machinery and human lives together.
However, both the office holders of PIHRO have demanded of the Judiciary for stern action against the accused persons following the relevant law of the motherland was must so that nobody could dare to commit such a horrible but brutal crime sabotaging the peace and harmony, adding that lawyers and the doctors both are most precious assets of our civil society so both the fraternities should keep up sanctity of law and order situation up within the ambit of country.
The PIHRO’s office bearers went on to say that law and medicine to be the noblest of the professions to make every effort to keep the nobility of such professions intact. However, they stressed hard on the issue of punishment to those has committed unlawful attack by leaving huge loss of the hospital together with human lives kept in death cells and injured many other staff members of the PIC baselessly to deprive them from peaceful lives also.
