DADU: Pakistan People’s Party Dadu, organized a protest demonstrationat SSP Chowk Dadu on Sunday to protest against the Federal PMLNgovernment for carrying out load shedding of gas, electricity andshortages of water for the agriculture system in Sindh. The demonstration wasarranged by ex-minister for education Sindh Pir Mazhar ul Haq. It was a five hour long demonstration, and all kinds of traffic was blocked by tents on the main chowk.
Speaking to demonstrators, Pir Mazhar ul Haq said that Sindh wassupplying 70% gas to the country but Sindh was facing a lack of ga supply.
He demanded action against local Oil and Gas Multinational companiesover the charges of misusing communities’ development funds in thedistrict of Dadu despite huge explorations of oil and gas from localareas. He said that the PMLN Federal government was creating differencesamong Lahore and Larkana hence people of Sindh were deprived oftheir rights.
The oil and gas multinational companies should supply free of cost gasto the local communities in Dadu district. He said that all power wassupplied to Punjab hence there was 20 hour long load shedding in Sindh.
He believed Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif want to establish adictatorship but the PPP will not allow him todo so. He also alleged that the people were doingpropaganda against him by suggesting that he was joining PTI.
He dismissed thisnews and claimed that when hedies, he will be buried ina PPP flag. Owing to the weakness of PPP district Dadu, thepublic gathering in Dadu was held on April 22nd.
On that occasion, MPA Pir Mujeeb ul Haq, Pir Danish, Abdul Haq Birohi,Ibrar Khushik, Salim Qureshi, Mumtaz Channa, haji Ghulam MustafaBirohi, Mukhtiar Solangi, Abdul Karim Leghari also spoke.
