The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Tuesday arrested an Australia-returned conman named Farooq Aslam for impersonating himself as the director general of FIA. The action was taken by FIA Deputy Director Mian Sabir, on the direction of Lahore FIA Anti-Corruption Circle Director Sarfaraz Virk, who arrested the accused from the defense area. Accused Farooq Aslam used to extort money from citizens as impersonating as director general of the FIA. The raiding party found fake visiting cards of the FIA DG.
