LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has taken a U-turn on its resolution against organising the final of Pakistan Super League-2017 that was submitted in Punjab Assembly on Tuesday.
Following Imran Khan’s stance against holding the match in Pakistan, owing to security concerns, the opposition party in Punjab moved a resolution only to retract it later.
Imran Khan branded provincial government’s permission to the cricket board a mistake and criticised the decision. Meanwhile, PTI filed a resolution in Punjab Assembly over the issue but the move was reversed.
On the other hand, Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pervez Khattak has announced to witness the final match in Lahore in Gaddafi Stadium on March 5.
