RAWALPINDI: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa advised the country’s youth to strive for excellence, said the Inter-Services Public Relations on Thursday.
COAS was on a visit to National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) in Islamabad. The army chief said that the youngsters of Pakistan should ‘always ask themselves that what they can do for their country.’
He also appreciated the achievement of NUST’s standing at the international level ranking. COAS Bajwa further said that the university is playing a central role in producing a stream of scholars and engineers of the highest calibre, the military’s media wing stated.
Moreover, general Bajwa remarked that NUST is a leading university in Pakistan, which would have a presence in all four provinces after the establishment of Quetta Campus.
The COAS was received by NUST Rector Lieutenant General (r) Naweed Zaman.
